Yoga for Anxiety & Stress Workshop
Hey, my name is Kate and I am a qualified yoga therapist from the minded institute, specialising in mental health.
I am super excited to be running a yoga workshop for Stress and Anxiety at the virtual Love and light festival in January.
Stress and anxiety are part of being human, but when we become overwhelmed by these feelings they can have detrimental effects on our way of life.
In this workshop we shall discuss how stress and anxiety impact us, and practice simple yoga exercises (including breath work, movement and meditation) which can help reduce the undesirable symptoms often encountered. This is an interactive workshop and designed for you to gain knowledge and awareness to aid your management of stress and anxiety within your daily routine.
Crystal Specalist Intuative
GINA - WILD AS THE MOON
Introduction to Crystals Workshop
Knowing where to begin on your journey with crystals can be overwhelming; there is so much information out there! So I am going to be stripping it down to the basics for you, giving you a good foundation of knowledge to explore from.
A soothing, rejuvenating, holistic vibrational experience.
Using sound medicine tools, such as gongs, crystal alchemy bowls and chimes to produce a sound massage experience, for the body and mind. Through a shared frequency and vibration this is a great way to enter the mediation realm and can aid those who are looking to clear, or shift heavy, negative energy. A gong bath kick start the clearing process in a loving and profound way.
All that is required of you, is to find a comfortable position, close your eyes, relax and ride the vibrations waves as Junior holds you in a space of transformation and tranquility.
Psychic - Intuitive
We all have psychic abilities. For most, these abilities live underneath a level of controlled consciousness waiting for us to intentionally remember them. In this workshop we will develop a personal connection to Source Energy. By accessing this channel, we can begin to consciously understand our souls highest purpose. This alignment allows us freedom to co-create and trust in the manifesting sovereign beings that we innately are. Intuition is the empowerment of self; it is the breaker of chains.

YES TO YIN
Let’s slow it down....an hour long yin practice with an emphasis on turning our gaze inwards, away from our external distractions. A breath focussed class including pranayama practice, one for all levels of experience. A chance to explore the benefits of a slower practice to tune into what’s going on inside.
Sophie started her yoga journey at 20 years old. A single parent and struggling with mental health, eating disorders and giving up smoking, she was drawn to Yoga to help. Unaware at the time, Sophie's soul was guiding her to Yoga and was the beginning of a powerful healing journey. CAROLINE - HAPPY TOES
I'm a big fan of yoga. I like what it does to my body. I like how it makes me feel. I love the quieting effect it has on my mind. I became a Yoga Teacher 5 years ago in Melbourne, Australia. I then travelled to Mysore, India where I spent a lot of time learning about breath-work and the benefits of Pranayama. My style of teaching focuses heavily on the breath and the different ways it can be applied; for increasing energy levels on the one side, to managing anxiety on the other.
At the festival I will be hosting a Yummy Yin session—this is Yoga in slow motion. It is a restorative practice designed to be relaxing and at the same time we work on opening areas in the body that can feel a little stiff. I will share some pranayama (breathwork) techniques which you can take away with you to use in the comfort of your own home. These are designed for stress relief, to help with anxiety or, if you suffer with restless nights—these will be useful tools for you too. My session will end with a guided meditation to lull you into Zen Town and help put you into a lovely sleepy state to enjoy a relaxing Sunday evening.

THE VEGAN LARDER
Vanessa is a self-proclaimed food lover who set up a seasonal recipe blog, The Vegan Larder, with her business partner, Louise-Claire Cayzer. They wanted to show people how easy and tasty vegan food could be in a playful and fun way (for vegans and non-vegans). They saw that a healthy plant based diet needed to be demystified and that many people just don't have the skills, knowledge or support to go plant based. To speed up the process for people and transform their health, they offer incredible How To Go Plant Based courses (working directly with Vanessa) with fun and inspiring cookery lessons.
Vanessa teaches and supports people of any level to eat a truly varied, delicious, plant based diet that they can keep up for the rest of their lives!

Jessica Wilde’s sound is a clash of soulful chic and South London zest. The Brixton raised singer takes classic soul style and blends it with street savvy defiance. This creative fusion reflects her multicultural upbringing; brought up on her St Helenian mother’s obsession with jazz and soul, Jessica doused it with hip hop leanings and set it a light.
Jessica has established her credentials as a singer song-writer, signing her deal with major publisher SONY ATV. She has worked with artists from Ghetts to Tough Love. Her self-penned track ‘Strangers Love’ was released by renowned Korean k-pop label SM Entertainment and her co-write with Rudimental, ‘More Than Anything’ featured vocals from Emile Sande and made their album.
Jessica’s last project saw her in LA writing at Ne-Yo’s Hollywood studio, with producer Kizzo. The project gained her support from BBC Radio1xtra as ‘Record of the week’. She embarked on a mini tour, with the final show on the main stage of Bospop Festival (Netherlands), opening for Nile Rodgers.

BECCA BLUE NOTE
Having spent my life so far pursuing a career in the arts, I wanted to create space for myself to explore my passion for singing, away from my studies, which has taken on the form of Becca BlueNote, mostly documented on my Instagram page.
Since completing my performance training, I have moved onto study the technical side of the theatre and I use Becca BlueNote to further explore the art form, develop my skill and share my passion with anyone who will listen! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to perform at the last event and I’m thrilled to get to share a piece of Becca BlueNote with you all at the event again this year!
